Samsung Galaxy Unpacked set for July 22 in London, foldables and watches expected
Samsung will hold its Galaxy Unpacked event in London on July 22, expected to feature new foldable phones and smartwatches.
Samsung has confirmed its next Galaxy Unpacked event will take place in London on 22 July, describing the city as one that “moves forward, not by chasing trends, but by setting them.” The event will stream live on Samsung.com, Samsung Newsroom and Samsung’s YouTube channel at 6:30 pm IST.
The headline reveals are expected to be the Galaxy Z Fold 8, Galaxy Z Flip 8 and a new Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra, Samsung’s most ambitious foldable yet if confirmed, expected to feature a triple rear camera setup, faster charging and a more powerful chipset alongside display technology designed to minimise the crease common to foldable screens.
Beyond foldables, the event is expected to include the Galaxy Watch 9 and Galaxy Watch Ultra 2, along with Samsung’s long-anticipated Android XR smart glasses, though the glasses may not be available for purchase immediately.
Samsung has already opened pre-reservations in India for a refundable Rs 999 token via Samsung.com, Samsung Exclusive Stores, Amazon.in, Flipkart.com and retail outlets, with early reservers set to receive benefits worth Rs 2,799 on purchase.
Reports suggest the Fold 8 Ultra could start at Rs 1,99,990, the standard Fold 8 at Rs 1,74,999, and the Flip 8 at Rs 1,19,999, though Samsung has not confirmed pricing.
